And our thanks to
That Special Event
for designing us an inviting autumnal tableau

Jerry Carlson, owner of That Special Event, an event planning and staffing company, created this vignette using our Light Bridge Column/Base in a new way.

He and the florist, Flowers by Katie Ford, created a twisted twig bough of berries and leaves as their beam and hung our Olive and Topaz Votive Holders on it using our Copper Wire Holders usually used on our Metal Trees.

The design Jerry envisioned started with his vision of the arched bough. He didn’t want to see the space we allocated for his guest designer table ahead of time. He wanted to start with a blank canvas. He was helped in the creative process and execution by Linda Norgaila, from Hel's Kitchen, definitely a kindred spirit in out of the box thinking.
Jerry, Linda and Katie are a solid team. Expect to see a lot more of them together. We sensed their collective creativity and how they “click” when they started telling us about the numerous parties they have created together which they describe as “simple meets extravagant.”
We love Jerry's use of our Brown Suede V-Back chair which is perfect for fall and also his use of green. Normally, the fall colors are red, orange and yellow,
but not for Jerry.

He surprised us by styling this harvest table with our new Citron Bark napkins for a green statement and by the way he angled our chairs creating an invitation to sit down for a long, luxurious holiday feast.

Since the Citron Bark runner is reversible, he showcased the opposite pattern of the napkins for the center of the table.
Our Recycled Twig Container adds an extra fall dimension as a vessel for gourds.
We loved the way Jerry used our fall and rustic colored appointments for his table settings. He and Linda were able to mix and match in so many creative ways that they created one distinct look for each side of the table, making a very interesting contrast from one side to the other.
Think of the years of experience that went into this table. Jerry and Linda are industry veterans. Jerry has had his company for 18 years and currently has up to 300 staff available to him for placing. He is a natural at matching the right people, the right vendors, the right looks.... And as for Linda, who has been with Hel's Kitchen for the last eight years, her title says it all: Culinary Architect. She loves thinking of every last detail creatively and with her experience, organizationally, as well.

Their expertise created our inviting holiday table. Here's hoping yours will be just as inviting.
From our table to yours!

Happy Thanksgiving!!
